Operations Manager & Korea Key Account Manager

Giyong served in the Republic of Korea Army for 22 years; he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1990 until he left the Army with an honourable discharge at the rank of Major. Throughout his military career, he served as commanding or staff officer at various level of units or combat commands such as Reconnaissance Battalion in DMZ area, Military Intelligence Unit, Mechanized Infantry Division, Corps Command and ROK-US Combined Forces Command, notably at UN Missions in East Timor and Multinational Operations in Afghanistan. He was mostly responsible for Plans, Operations and Intelligence, and he displayed his accumulative experience and ability when he served as an Intelligence Exercise Officer at ROK-US Combined Forces Command for the nationwide training of Crisis Management and all-out war exercises. On completion of service, Giyong joined the private security industry in the Asia Pacific region, and then he joined Al Murabit as Site Security Operations Manager for the operational delivery of security services on the Hanwha Bismayah Project. Currently he is responsible for Operations at Al Thaware Security Services (Al Murabit’s sister company).
