Where do you operate?
Al Murabit is headquartered in Baghdad with a regional operational base in Basra and business development office in Dubai. Al Murabit now has over 450 employees across Iraq, the UAE, Korea and the UK.
Baghdad: Al Murabit’s Baghdad headquarters is 30 minutes drive from Baghdad International Airport. An independently managed office location it includes the HR, logistics, compliance and HSE departments as well as a state of the art Operations Centre that provides 24/7 oversight and situational awareness.
Basra: Ideally situated in the Burjesia area within the Southern Oilfields the Basra Operations Base is managed by the Regional Director and includes the following:
Both Operations Centres are fully functional C3I facilities, compliant with BP Security Minimum Operating Conditions (BP SMOC) and Shell Iraq Petroleum Development Readiness to Start Specifications and Standards (SIPD).

Currently we have 95% Iraqi local staff, all of whom are security cleared and trained to the highest standards.
Former British Army officers and non-commissioned officers manage the operational teams, who have extensive experience of working in challenging environments and operations in the oil and gas sector across the Middle East and Iraq.

Do we have a Meet & Greet service?
We have a dedicated representative from Al Murabit in Basra International Airport and Baghdad International Airport to facilitate the client immigration process on arrival at the airport
Do we have the SOC or other relevant pass to enter the southern oilfields?
Al Murabit vehicles and PSD teams have authorised passes from the South Oil Company to enter oilfields in the southern region of Iraq.
